Question for GOP:

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> It?s been days since those ?job-killing-tax-policies? for the wealthy were killed. >> Where?s all those jobs that you promised ! ! ? ? <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

As you watch the GOP budget cuts, never forget they're giving $70 billion each year in tax cuts to the wealthy.

Seems that just about the only thing we hear about lately is the national deficit and our debt. Everybody has an ?opinion? and proposed ?fix?, but few like to admit to what really caused it, and nobody wants to talk about who voted to put us in this mess. But the Washington Post has come up with a neat little graphic that list the current members of Congress who voted for these contributors.

The Post, using the Congressional Budget Office numbers, has correctly attributed the Bush tax cuts, Obama Stimulus bill(s) and the war?s in Afghanistan and Iraq as the major, major contributors to our deficit and debt. The chart on the right reflects that cost. You will notice that without those three things our debt would be considerably less than it is today.

The graphic is interactive and in two parts; one for the House of Representatives and one for the Senate. And it?s an overlapping graphic which reflects who voted only for one of the contributors and who voted for more than one. For example, Representative Paul Ryan voted for both the wars and the Bush tax cuts, whereas Representative Ron Paul voted only for the tax cuts.

This sort of ready information is very informative; especially when you recall some of the past comments from these politicians. It?s kind of like the Ryan budget plan; every single Republican in the House voted for it, then went before their constituents and tried to weasel out of it. But the facts are clear: If you voted for any of these three contributors, you are responsible for the deficit and debt.
