Eagles' Michael Vick has 'slight' concussion - Fantasy Sports

Even with improved testing standards, concussions are still an enigma. However, it looks like Michael Vick's concussion has been deemed not very serious. Via a team source, the Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McLane tweeted Monday morning that Vick's concussion is "slight." And Eagles trainer Rick Burkholder said that Vick was "absolutely fine" on the plane ride home. Vick suffered the concussion during the third quarter of the Eagles' 35-31 loss to the Falcons after he fell into an offensive lineman. He also bit his tongue upon impact and was seen spitting blood. FANTASY ANALYSIS: Vick will still go through all of the exams and tests as anyone with a concussion would, and we probably won't know much about his status for week three's game versus the Giants until Thursday. If he's active, you're playing him. If he doesn't play, then it gets a little dicey. Normal backup QB Vince Young still has a hamstring injury. Mike Kafka, who replaced Vick last night, could very well get the start. But guessing right now, I think Vick will start versus New York.
